who are you? who who? who who?

Ever since I started my blog a couple of years ago, I've loved being able to grow closer to a few friends-- even those friends I don't get to see on a regular basis. I've "met" new people and reconnected with others, and for that, I am so grateful! I love community, and community is one reason I love my blog.

And if you're reading this, you are a part of my online community, and I so appreciate you reading! So, THANK YOU! You mean a great deal to me!!

My Blogger Stats tell me I have a lot of readers who read my blog, however, I don't so often get many comments. Where are all my readers? I bet there are people who read my blog that I'd love to hear from. I bet there are people that read my blog that I don't know, but I'd love to know who they are! And then again, I know there are people who read my blog every day, but don't leave comments. It's such a sad state of affairs for me personally.

And this is where you come in: if you're reading this, who are you? Go ahead! You can do it!! You, too, can leave me a comment. Tell me who you are! If we know each other, leave one anyway. Just say hi! You can imagine how much joy it brings me to hear from you.

If you're reading this in Google Reader, I want you to comment, too! Go ahead...click on the blue title of this post and leave me a little comment. I want to hear from you, too!!

Yes, it's true. I'm begging for comments. But not just for any reason, but because I want to know who I'm talking to. I want to know who reads about my little life. I'd love to know!

So, now you know that I love comments, so from here on out, don't be afraid to leave one! I always welcome your opinions, comments, concerns, funny remarks, and questions.

Thank you for suiting my fancy. You mean the world to me!

  3. Hey Whitney! I've been reading your blog for a while now, but have never commented...bad blog reader, I know! Funny how our worlds are kind of intertwined. I'm from Guntersville and knew your name. I was Sarah (Stevens) Rice's roommate at Auburn and am great friends with her and Adam. AND...I live in Birmingham now with Lindsey Smith and we got your precious Christmas card. So there you have it...I feel like we should be friends in real-life, but alas, cyberspace will have to do!

Your blog is wonderful...we love all the same kinds of things! I hope you and Mat had the greatest holiday!

  4. Martha! Thank you so much for reading. It's so crazy to think you know two of my sweetest friends who I do not even believe know each other. I love it!! We will have to do a meet-up sometime; I'd love to meet you and see Lindsey. Or you both could drive up to Louisville and you could see the Rices. Thanks again for commenting! Happy New Year!!

  5. Hi! I think I've commented once or twice (the recipe cards, that's me!).

I think I found your blog from reading UrbanGrace or Fly Through Our Window, which are the only ones I read regularly... Well, now yours too :) (I think I may have found it through a comment or something because I LOVED the name "Southern Grace" :)

I'm a 26 year old from Indiana. It's always fun to read your blog because I think we have pretty similar tastes, and it's always fun and inspirational to see what others are up to!

I love to cook and craft (though I do the former MUCH more than the latter ;)) and I love Kate Spade, Starbucks and My Lord and Savior!

    Happy New Year!

  10. I feel like that ALL the TIME...it seems like people stop me all the time out in town or will leave a comment on Facebook to say they enjoy reading my blog, but they rarely leave a comment on the blog. And, my stat shows the traffic, which is FAAARRRR higher than my maybe 1 or 2 comments on each post. I always get so excited (sad, I know) when someone leaves a comment! But, I'm just as guilty about not commenting...so, I'll try to be better about being a commenter and not just a reader :) Hope y'all had a great Christmas at home!!

  11. I must admit that I have read your blog for quite sometime but have yet to leave a comment. I always enjoy knowing someone else has a love of Southern Living, dishes, and most things Sharpie.

  16. Hi Whitney! I found your blog from Hayley's Reflections of Grace. Love it! I'm from A'ville and was so glad to see you again. I've known your mom from going to school and teaching summer school with her. I must say your reflection of the Savior is most inspiring. God bless you and visit me at brandeesblessing@blogspot.com. Unfortunately, I have to really look for time to blog...but it's so fun!

  17. I actually graduated with Meg and ran into her in Mobile the weekend of your wedding and somehow discovered your blog through her pictures on FB. I believe I was researching wedding venues in Mobile for my upcoming nuptials. I got hooked because obviously I am from the same area and also a soon to be UA alum.
